Today, Nonin is a global leader in medical monitoring with partners and customers in more than 125 countries. Phil Isaacson
Executive Chairman and Chief Technology Officer

Phil Isaacson founded Nonin Medical in 1985 to pursue a new idea: making pulse oximetry devices smaller, more reliable, and more affordable. The company was incorporated in 1986. Under his leadership, Nonin established international sales channels and OEM partnerships early on—relationships that continue today.

Beginning with pulse oximetry and expanding to regional oximetry and capnography, with more parameters in the works, Phil has led Nonin through several product developments and technological innovations. At the same time, he is always looking for ways to improve existing Nonin products. He is listed as an inventor on 25 patents to date.

David Hemink
Chief Executive Officer

David is a strategic and operational leader with diverse experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, and broader life sciences. His clinical experience is in gastroenterology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, peripheral vascular, interventional oncology, vascular access, dialysis, and infection prevention and control; his portfolio expertise is in disposable medical devices, implantable medical devices, diagnostic and therapeutic catheters, software development, hardware/firmware, antibacterial/antimicrobial coatings, and integrated systems. He holds a degree in business and corporate communications from California State University, Fresno, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Matthew Prior
Senior Vice President of Strategy and OEM Sales

Matthew creates new opportunities with global strategic partners that leverage breakthrough medical technologies to improve lives. Matthew has led teams responsible for creating and managing commercialization opportunities, and has built key relationships with our largest global partners. He is listed as an inventor on 10 patents.

Matthew holds a master’s and doctoral degrees in physics from Duke University, a master’s degree in theoretical and mathematical physics and high performance computing from Trinity College, Dublin, and a dual bachelor of science degrees in physics and mathematics from the Dublin Institute of Technology.

Jill Wroblewski
Vice President of International Sales

Jill has held several leadership positions with Nonin Medical, including director of business development and senior director of marketing. With a background in mathematics and statistics, she has experience in clinical research, statistical analysis, and effective management of complex projects. Jill holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in statistics, both from Western Michigan University.

Greg Rausch
Vice President of Research & Development

Greg is an experienced technology and product development leader with extensive background in technical management of complex systems for medical device, consumer electronics, and telecommunications companies. He is an accomplished program manager of complete product and technology development life cycle from product/technology idea conception through design, implementation, and customer samples to optimization for mass production. Greg holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Brent Geiger
Vice President of Quality, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs

As Nonin’s Vice President of Quality, Regulatory & Clinical Affairs, Brent Geiger is responsible for proactively developing, leading and driving the execution of global quality, regulatory and clinical strategy.  Brent is passionate about striking the right balance between achievement of strategic business and compliance objectives, and organizational design to align with strategy and support its deployment. After spending over 15 years in quality, regulatory and clinical affairs for multimillion dollar medical device, technology and pharmaceutical companies, Brent has a proven track record of executing vision, strategy and roadmaps that drive organizational transformation.

Brent holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering and MS in Biotechnology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. In addition, he has held a RAPS Regulatory Affairs Certification since 2009.

Rob Kill
Chief Executive Office, Parata Systems

Rob is the Chief Executive Officer of Parata Systems, a position he assumed upon the merger of Parata and TCGRx in November 2018. He had previously served as Executive Chairman and then CEO of TCGRx.

Prior to these roles, Rob was Chairman and CEO of Cogentix Medical, a medical device company providing neuromodulation and endoscopy technologies for the minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of urologic disorders. Previously, Rob served as Chairman and CEO of Virtual Radiologic Corporation, a teleradiology practice with over 400 radiologists serving 2,500+ hospitals in the U.S. Before joining Virtual Radiologic, Rob was President of Misys Physician Systems, a developer of electronic medical record and practice management software applications. Earlier in his career, he also spent 10 years with Baxter Healthcare, where he held senior leadership roles in operations, marketing, and sales.

Rob also currently serves on the boards of Ascension Ventures and Vein Clinics of America.

Rob received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.

Jennifer Myster
President, Park Nicollet - Methodist Hospital

Jennifer has served as the Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital president since November 2018. She also has responsibility for home and community care services across HealthPartners. Jennifer is passionate about providing the safest possible, highest quality care for patients through fostering a culture of high reliability where speaking up, process improvement and resilient people and systems thrive.

She served as the president of Allina Health Buffalo Hospital from 2009 to November 2018. From 2002 to 2009, Jennifer was at Park Nicollet Health Services where she was senior vice president of Specialty and Diagnostic Services where she lead the development of two comprehensive, multi-disciplinary specialty centers, the Heart and Vascular Center and the Frauenshuh Cancer Center.
Jennifer started her career as an administrator at Mayo Clinic Rochester after earning two master’s degrees in Health Care Administration (MHA) and Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Minnesota.

Jennifer has extensive governance experience in her administrative role. She has also served on a number of non-profit boards. She lives in Excelsior and has three grown children.

Jennifer stays active in her free time biking, running, skiing and hiking.

Asheesh Saksena
Strategic Advisor to CEO, Best Buy

As a builder of new businesses and strategic growth initiatives, Asheesh has held several leadership roles in the industry. Until recently, Asheesh was President, Best Buy Health, leading Best Buy’s diversification into digital health.

Asheesh was also the Strategic Chief Growth Officer at Best Buy, prior to which Chief Strategy Officer at Cox Communications and Time Warner Cable, and Partner at Accenture. He started his career with the Tata Group as an Officer of the Tata Administrative Service and rose to become President, TataFone.

Asheesh is a Mechanical Engineer with an MBA – both from leading institutions in India. He lives in the Twin Cities with his wife, two children, and the much pampered, relatively disobedient Shih Tzu.

Sven Wehrwein
Director, AtriCure, SPS Commerce, and ProtoLabs

During his 35-plus years in accounting and finance, Sven has experience as a CPA (inactive), investment banker to emerging-growth companies, chief financial officer, and audit committee chair for private and public companies.

Today, he serves on the board of directors of three public companies: AtriCure, a medical-device company (service since 2016); Protolabs, an Internet-enabled manufacturing company (since 2011); and SPS Commerce, a supply-chain SAAS company (since 2008).

Earlier in his career, he served on the board of these Minnesota-based public companies: Compellent Technologies (2007-2011) until its acquisition by Dell; Synovis Life Technologies (2004-2012) until its acquisition by Baxter; and Vital Images (1994-2011) until its acquisition by Toshiba Medical.

Born in Denmark and raised in Chicago, he graduated from Loyola University (Chicago), and has a Master’s in Management from the Sloan School at MIT.
